These unique Mixed Ability football development sessions are tailored to mainstream and physically impaired players of all ages.
Children Aged 3-5
In small groups the children focus on developing balance & movement through fun skill based games using ball control and easy exercises. They learn to follow simple commands and how to work with other children which assists with communication and self-belief. We encourage parents or carers to get involved in the activities as this enables the kids to feel at ease and start interacting from the beginning.
If you wish to progress the children further we have our Junior Striker Academy which looks at getting the children ready for team games in schools or clubs.
Children Aged 6-10
These sessions follow the England FA’s long-term development plan for players. It focuses on the Four corner model of Technical, Psycholgical, Physical and Social aspects of the game. This includes not only fun small sided games but technical ball skills and interactive discussions about Rules of the game , Ethnicity & Diversity and the FA Respect program.
Our coaches pre-plan the sessions in 6 week blocks and follow the progression of each child at every stage, awarding a Star Player at the end of each session. This is to develops self-belief in their own ability and encourages the children to aim for targets. We adapt the sessions to suit all players so that everyone is at the same stage and no one is left is behind.
We don’t produce individual Superstars just One Team of Excellence!
