The 2019 running events calendar has started, and here at Motiv8 Sport, we are excited to bring you some of the UK’s best events and challenges. Not only do we showcase the biggest running events across the country, but the little gems that are suitable for all ages, abilities and families.

Wales Dualthlon

WALES DUATHLON

Motiv8 Sport is very excited to introduce a brand NEW race for 2019; The Wales Duathlon will be taking place in the beautiful suburb of Penarth with a backdrop of the breath-taking Penarth Pier.

The track course is flat and fast and will no doubt attract some of the UK’s best-talented athletes. This is a race not to be missed!

Run Northumberland Cragside 5k 2019

NORTHUMBERLAND CRAGSIDE 5K 2019

Run Northumberlands most popular 10k, now has a new 5k event taking place at the Cragside National Trust estate. The course includes a gradual climb for the first 1km, then a loop within the estate before a nice 2km return coming back down to the finish outside the visitor centre. Don’t miss this new race which is full of views of the hills and the picturesque lakes and woodland within the estate.

Spartan Race UK South East Super

 The Spartan 2019 season starts right here! With the opening race of the brand new season in the heart of the South East at the St Clere venue for the third year in a row! The St Clere race weekend gets bigger and better every year so don’t miss out on an exciting new season ahead. Expect some mixed terrain and some technical running that will challenge everyone from the Elites to the Open waves. The Spartan 2019 season launch is ready – are you?

Mencap Manchester Heaton Park 5/10k

Mencap Manchester Heaton Park 5/10k

Do it for Mencap this spring and take on a 5km or 10km run in the picturesque Heaton park. The routes are suitable for all ages and fitness levels to run, jog or walk, and standard entry is only £15.

If you have a disability your supporter can run with you for free, and there are also wheelchair places available too. If you have kids then enjoy the family-friendly 1km run together first – You can sign them up for just £7.50!

The Llandudno Easter 5k Promenade Dash

The Llandudno Easter 5k Prom Dash

The popular Llandudno Family Prom Dash is one race you don’t want to miss out on as it returns for the eighth year. There will be Easter eggs and other seasonal goodies on offer plus a bespoke medal waiting for you at the finish of this speedy 5K Dash, out and back along the Promenade.

The race will also be looking to help raise funds for the Little Orme Lions Club, who will be helping to marshal the race. Don’t forget there are a medal & easter eggs for all finishers, what more could you ask for?

Isle of Wight Challenge

ISLE OF WIGHT CHALLENGE

Great challenges need great settings, and none are better than the Island’s magical coastal path. Over 2,000 adventurers of all experience levels and ages, will take on the Isle of Wight in May to push themselves further.

The fully supported route with aid stations every 12km takes you along the spectacular southern cliffs, past the iconic Needles and up to historic Cowes at the halfway rest stop. For Full Island challengers it’s then around clockwise to Ventnor and back to our base camp in Chale after an epic 106km journey. With half and quarter distance options also – there’s a challenge here for everyone!
